Chalk Line is celebrating Wolverine, one of the greatest antiheroes and X-Men of all time, with the Wolverine Slashes Button Up Shirt! "I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn't very nice."
Wolverine first appeared in the last panel of The Incredible Hulk #180 in 1974 before having a larger role in the next issue, #181. Created by Roy Thomas, Len Wein, the great John Romita Sr., and Herb Trimpe, Wolverine joined the revamped X-Men shortly after his introduction.
Like many comicbook antiheroes of the post-Vietnam War era, Wolverine was a tough brooding loner willing to use deadly force. Artist Frank Miller's legendary run with the character in 1982 debuted Wolverine's catchphrase, "I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn't very nice."
Wolverine has been featured in his own solo Wolverine comic book series in 1988. He is a fan-favorite character that has appeared in several animated TV series, video games, and films.
The Chalk Line Button Up Shirt is comprised of 93% Polyester, 7% Spandex. Available in sizes S-4XL.
